Business Insider Launches Publishing Trading Desk

Business Insider has launched a publisher trading desk, using technology from Rubicon Project, to bring on small advertisers that didn’t meet its spend minimums for direct buys and didn’t have their own DSPs for programmatic sales, AdExchanger has reported.

“We want to make it so advertisers can buy us however they want to buy us, but we still have rules for the direct sales force,” explained Jana Meron, VP of programmatic and data strategy for Business Insider, to AdExchanger.
