Millennial Media, a mobile ad exchange, has announced the appointment of Ernie Cormier as chief operating officer. Cormier was formerly CEO and president of Nexage, a mobile ad exchange a supply-side platform (SSP).

Cormier and Millennial Media are already familiar with one another: Millennial acquired Nexage last fall for $107.5 million, and Cormier served as a member of Millennial’s board of directors beginning in 2014. However, he will be stepping down from that role to serve as COO, per a release.
