Watchdog group Eye on Sacramento is suing the city and has asked for a temporary restraining order in a move to stop city officials from deleting emails. The lawsuit aimed to
stop the city’s plans to delete emails two years or older that are referred to as "transitory" or "irrelevant" to the public record.
