Parents are turning to Facebook for support, information and connections, according to Pew Research Center. While 91 percent of parents use the Internet, 75% of them use social media. Seventy-four
percent of online parents use Facebook. This is slightly more than the 70% of non-parents who use the platform. Eighty-one percent of online mothers use Facebook, compared with 66% of online fathers.
Pinterest is the second most popular, followed by LinkedIn.
