One of the NFL’s major TV attractions -- Tom Brady -- doesn’t appear to be losing any TV time for the upcoming season.

A Federal judge has overturned the four-game suspension handed to New England Patriots quarterback, the Associated Press reported. The suspension was imposed by the National Football League after the so-called Deflategate scandal.

Brady, according to the NFL, was responsible for telling sideline personnel to deflate footballs during the AFC championship game to gain a better grip. The Patriots went on to win that game, as well as the Super Bowl.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said the only way Brady would be able to get his suspension reduced or eliminated was if he provided new information, according to reports.

Looking at all games on Fox, CBS, NBC, ESPN and the NFL Network, NFL regular-season games averaged 17.6 million viewers per game telecast, making it the second-most-watched season ever behind the 2010 season, which averaged at 17.9 million.

NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” remained TV’s top-viewed TV show for the fourth year in a row -- averaging a Nielsen 21.3 million viewers -- as well as having the best 18-49 ratings, averaging a 7.7.

This past February’s Super Bowl telecast on NBC brought in another record 114.4 million viewers.
