Discovery Network’s JOHN CARROZZA was promoted to senior vice president, advertising revenue and planning, national advertising sales for the network’s U.S. operations. In his new post, Carrozza is responsible for all ad sales proposals submitted to agencies, inventory portfolio management for Discovery’s 14 U.S. networks, and supervision of Discovery’s direct response unit. Before joining Discovery, Carrozza spent 17 years at ABC and Family Channel, most recently with ABC Family Worldwide Inc., where he was executive vice president, sales planning for ABC Family Channel/Disney Kids Network.
