Kraft Heinz Conducts Agency Review

The Kraft Heinz Company, formed earlier this year, is conducting a creative agency review, according to sources.

Word of the review follows last month’s decision by the company to consolidate its $600 million media agency assignment with Publicis Groupe’s Starcom without a review.

A Kraft Heinz company rep declined to comment.

Incumbent creative shops include Leo Burnett, mcgarrybowen, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Taxi and Cramer-Krasselt. It was not immediately clear if all the incumbents were participating in the review or whether non-roster shops were being invited to pitch.

The merger of the two food marketing giants — Kraft Foods and Heinz — was completed in July. Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway facilitated the combination and owns about a quarter of the merged entity’s publicly traded stock worth about $24 billion, according to Bloomberg.

The company’s products include Kraft Macaroni & Cheese and Heinz Ketchup, among many other brands.
