Eyeblaster, an advertising firm specializing in rich media, announced Monday the appointment of a new general manager, and the addition of two new senior staffers to support the company's growth plans. The new GM, Doug McFarland, was named to the board of directors in November. Before working at Eyeblaster, McFarland was the executive vice president and GM of Advertising.com. The two new senior staffers are Fred Tietze, who was named vice president of sales and business, and Wilma McDaniel, who was named marketing director. McDaniel previously worked at TNS Media Intelligence/CMR as their marketing director. Tietze ran his own consulting firm, Tietze Associates, before joining Eyeblaster, and served as vice president of sales and general manager of Excite@Home.
