Travel + Leisure has a series of interactive landing pages with a range of gift ideas for men, women and children, curated by the publication’s editors.

The site also features products grouped into lifestyle categories, presented as shareable and social media-friendly slideshows and lists. Some examples of their gift guides include “Beauty Gifts,” “Adventure Travel Gifts,” “Tech Gifts,” “Stocking Stuffers” and “Gifts for Foodies.”

Food & Wine’s gift guides are also curated by its editors and are presented in a carousel format titled “Best Presents for Everyone on Your List.” The shop-friendly slideshows include “Home Design Gifts,” “Party Host Gifts,” “Gifts for Cocktail Lovers” and “Best Gifts Under $20.”

Both brands relaunched their Web sites this year, expanding the franchises.

This fall, Travel + Leisure launched bookable editor-curated trips through an ecommerce platform called Travel + Leisure Journeys.

Around the same time, Food & Wine teamed up with e-commerce beer, wine and spirits delivery service Drizly to curate cocktail recipes, wine recommendations and pairings.

In November, editor in chief of Food & Wine, Dana Cowin, announced that she was stepping down from the magazine after 21 years in the position. She will leave after she closes the March issue in January, moving on to be chief creative officer of Chefs Club International, the parent of Chefs Club by Food & Wine, a restaurant group with locations in Manhattan and Aspen.
