Lotame Names New APAC Managing Director To Boost APAC Growth

Global data management platform Lotame tapped Alex Sibois as managing director for the Asian Pacific (APAC) region in an effort to drive sales efforts and business growth across the APAC region.

In May, Lotame announced a partnership with third-party audience data provider Eyeota to give clients, particularly those in Southeast Asia, more data to work with.

Sibois was previously director at consultancy Xpandeo and spent time at ad tech companies including Avocarrot, Ooyala, LiveRail and Vibrant Media. He will serve as a member of Lotame’s executive leadership team and report to CRO Kevin Kohn. Sibois’ responsibilities include leading and implementing strategic priorities and increasing sales across the APAC region. 

Lotame is headquartered in Maryland and has locations in London, New York, San Francisco, Singapore and Sydney.

This month, the company named Mike Woosley as chief operating officer and Gaurav Seth as country manager for India.

A recent report from AppNexus and Warc found that 65% of ad professionals in the APAC region say an understanding of programmatic advertising will be a key skill for agencies by 2020. Last month, DataXu announced new offices in Singapore, Sydney and Bangalore in response to growing demand for local support in the region, Real-Time Daily reported.
