AAF Elects Four To Its Hall Of Fame

The American Advertising Federation (AAF), administrator of the Advertising Hall of Fame, has elected Thomas J. Burrell, chairman emeritus, Burrell Communications Group; Roger A. Enrico, former chairman and CEO, PepsiCo; executive chairman, DreamWorks, SKG; Harry M. Jacobs, chairman emeritus, The Martin Agency; and Ted Turner, founder, CNN, to the Advertising Hall of Fame. The recipients will be inducted into the Advertising Hall of Fame at an awards luncheon to be held Tuesday, March 15, at New York's Waldorf Astoria hotel. The Advertising Hall of Fame began in 1948, and since then, 170 individuals have been elected to this illustrious group. They include such industry giants as Leo Burnett, Jay Chiat, David Ogilvy, John Wanamaker, and Mary Wells Lawrence.

The Council of Judges was chaired by David Verklin, CEO of Carat North America.
