Political Spending By Koch Group Hits $400 Million in 2015

The Koch brothers, founders of The Tea Party, have spent almost half of the money they pledged to spend this election cycle in support of ultra-conservative causes. Much of the money goes to universities and think tanks, but also to overtly political groups, like the Americans for Prosperity super PAC. At an event over the weekend, Charles Koch remarked: “We have ideas that will make America better, and we need to share them, and we need to each stand-up and be open.”
