TiVo's Yudkovitz Resigns As President

  • February 1, 2005
Nearly three weeks after TiVo's CEO announced he was stepping down, the company's President Marty Yudkovitz said on Monday that he too would leave his post.

Yudkovitz said that he would remain with the Alviso, Ca.-based digital video recorder company in a consulting capacity on certain continuing matters for a period of time. He has been president of the company since May 2003.

On January 12, Mike Ramsay, chairman and CEO of TiVo, announced that he planned to leave his post as CEO, although he will remain as Chairman of the Board. TiVo has initiated a succession process to identify a new CEO for the company. Ramsay, who has served as TiVo's CEO since its founding in 1997, credited Yudkovitz with easing the company's relationships with the broadcasting and advertising industries. -- DK
