Max Borges Agency Sets Up Shop In NYC

Max Borges Agency is opening its third office--in New York City-- two years after opening up in San Francisco and seven years since the digital and creative shop first launched in Miami, FL.

"Taking the learnings from our SF opening, we felt the timing was right to do the same in NYC," says founder Max Borges. "Clients today are not as geographic dependent as one might think."

The NYC shop launches with four employees, with "significant growth plans" over the next two years. "The main challenge is managing the growth effectively and ensuring teams across all three of our offices work fluidly and effectively to manage client needs," says Borges.

The New York  team will be headed by Frank Mantero and Peter DiBart. Mantero joins as SVP, account services to lead day-to-day oversight of the agency’s account teams, enhancing the current agency infrastructure and scaling existing product offerings for clients.  Prior to joining Borges, Mantero served as SVP of communications and corporate marketing at Ansell Healthcare, where he led the company’s communications, branding and digital efforts.

DiBart joins as SVP, creative director and will be responsible for the agency’s strategic capabilities and creative solutions. He will also focus on business development efforts and expanded growth opportunities.

DiBart previously served as VP creative director, North America at Text 100 and spent more than six years with Edelman Digital, serving as SVP, group creative director, and digital.

NYC's skilled workforce was a major factor in this expansion. "The access to talent and decision makers in the world's largest media market allows us to implement the next level of our growth strategy," says Borges.”

Borges’ roster of clients includes AT&T, Philips, Netatmo, Cricket, and Ogio.
