CBS News Reporter Arrested While Covering Trump Rally

Sopan Deb, reporter for CBS News, was arrested Friday night in Chicago amid the violent protests at a Trump rally. Deb was filming a man with a bloodied face on the ground when he was suddenly “grabbed from behind and thrown to the ground.” An officer then placed a boot on Deb’s neck to keep him in place. Deb was charged with resisting arrest, even though his own footage and that from another camera crew point to a different reality.
