Media Contacts, the interactive arm of Havas' MPG, has named T.S. Kelly to the newly created position of global director of research and insight. As a senior member of MPG's research team, Kelly will
be responsible for research in connection with digital, direct, and relationship-based media. He will also produce and publish research focusing on media fragmentation and consumption, work with Media
Contacts' clients worldwide to help craft communications strategy, and work with industry groups to promote the efficacy of new media. Most recently a vice president for research at IAG Research in
New York, Kelly provided consultation and analytical support to Fortune 500 client accounts. He began his career at Katz Media Corp. as the director of research and marketing, and has had stints at
Nielsen//NetRatings and Doner Advertising. --David Kaplan
