aQuantive Reports Stronger-Than-Expected Earnings

aQuantive Inc. Wednesday reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter profits of 10 cents per share on $60.7 million in revenue, up from 6 cents a share on $18.5 million in revenue the year before; Wall Street had predicted just 5 cents a share for the quarter. Last summer, aQuantive acquired Web design firm Razorfish and merged it with interactive ad agency Avenue A to form Avenue A/Razorfish. aQuantive's full-year earnings, excluding a tax benefit, came to 33 cents per share on $157.9 million in revenue, beating analysts' estimate of 26 cents per share.
