Lindor Chocolate Featured In 'Mother's Day' Movie

Lindt’s Lindor milk chocolate truffles will get their big-screen debut this month, when they’re featured in several scenes in “Mother’s Day,” the latest film from director Garry Marshall.

The deal designates Lindor as the “official chocolate” of the movie, which boasts stars including Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston and Kate Hudson and premiers on April 29.

Lindt is also running a Mother’s Day and “National Truffle Day” (May 2) contest, which can be entered through a link on the brand’s Facebook page and site

Fans who share, in 200 words or fewer, why their mothers or mother figures are “the sweetest” earn chances to win a year’s supply of assorted Lindor truffles and two tickets to the “Mother’s Day” movie.

Lindt has also partnered with entertaining site Pizzazzerie to offer consumers ideas for celebrating Mother’s Day, and with DIY site Handmade Mood, which is offering tutorials on how to make a Lindor truffle chandelier, and Lindor truffle double chocolate chunk waffles with orange glaze, for mom.

The brand, which is also on Twitter and Instagram, is encouraging fans to share using #LindtMothersDay and #MothersDayMovie.
