Native video ad platform Teads announced Tuesday that it's launching business in Canada, beginning with a new office in Toronto and a new VP-sales and business development, RJ Pauloski. Pauloski, previously sales director at AOL Canada, will manage a team selling Teads’ outstream video ad formats in the Canadian advertising market. Pauloski had also worked at Microsoft Advertising & Online and MySpace/FIM Canada. Teads raised $30 million in funding in January 2015, Real-Time Daily reported. The company reported $144 million in 2015 revenue, an increase over an estimated $96 million in 2014 revenue. Publishers who use Teads include The Washington Post, Reuters, Forbes, Mashable, Le Monde, Les Echos, Die Welt and The Guardian.
