Rob Thorsen Named Big Spaceship's First President

Rob Thorsen has been promoted to President of Brooklyn, NY-based digital agency Big Spaceship effective immediately. Thorsen is the first person to hold this title at the agency.

Thorsen was previously Managing Director of the shop. He will continue to oversee day-to-day operations such as business development, mentoring the agency’s talent and managing client relationships. His expanded duties will include helping define and lead the future vision for the 16-year-old agency.  Also, he’ll now be spearheading innovation initiatives across its disciplines.

Since joining Big Spaceship in 2013, Thorsen has helped to re-shape and evolve the agency’s offering, according to Founder and CEO Michael Lebowitz. “Equal parts agency leader, relationship builder, strategic thinker and creative contributor, Rob is a great partner to our clients and our crew,” Lebowitz said. “He will be key to Big Spaceship's ongoing success."
