AIM, Globe Pequot Team For Multi-Year Book Publishing

Magazine publisher Active Interest Media has signed a multi-year publishing partnership with independent book publisher Globe Pequot, following a successful collaboration on the April release of the book "Backpacker: The National Parks Coast to Coast, 100 Best Hikes."

The partnership will unite Globe Pequot’s expertise in book publishing with AIM’s connection to an audience of dedicated enthusiast readers.

The terms of the partnership were not disclosed.

This spring, Globe Pequot’s FalconGuides imprint, publisher of outdoor recreation books, produced the "Backpacker" book with AIM’s magazine. The book features detailed hike profiles, maps and full-color photos of U.S. national parks.

The Globe-AIM partnership will continue to publish a list of books for the enthusiast market, authored by either AIM writers and editors or authors in Globe’s network.
