Google Street View Banned In India Amid Privacy Concerns

India officials at the Defense Ministry have denied Google security clearance to use its Street View service, which allows users to have a panoramic view of places in cities, reports The Hndu. "The Defense Ministry said it was not possible to monitor the service once it was launched and it would be detrimental to national security,” reports the publication, citing a senior government official.
