Today is Donald Trump’s birthday. As a 70-year-old with decades of public life under his belt, USA Today has put together a list of 70 things the presumptive GOP nominee has said about himself. Ranging from quotes on the 2016 campaign trail to quotes from his book published in the 1980s, the real-estate magnate has always vied to make his mark.

A telling quote from one of his books: “I play into people’s fantasies. People may not always think big themselves, but they can still get very excited by those who do. That’s why a little hyperbole never hurts.”
