Dentsu Aegis Acquires B2B Indie Gyro, Will Merge With Interprise To Form Global B2B Network

Dentsu Aegis Network has acquired Gyro, a U.S.-based independent creative agency focused on B2B marketing.

Terms were not disclosed, but Dentsu Aegis said it would fold Interprise, a B2B media shop launched earlier this year, into Gyro.

Gyro will remain headquartered in the U.S., but will expand its footprint internationally, including inside the U.S. and in the U.K., France, Germany, Spain, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and the UAE.

Gyro Global CEO and CCO Christoph Becker will have the same title in the combined operation. Interprise Global President Stuart Giddings will become global network president of Gyro, reporting to Becker.

Gyro, founded in 1999, has been majority-owned by an affiliate of Pegasus Capital Advisors, L.P. since January 2008.
