GumGum Launches AdBuilder, Enabling Agencies, Marketers To Create Customized Ads

Ad-tech firm GumGum on Wednesday announced the launch of AdBuilder, an online hub that enables marketers and agencies to  set up, customize, edit, and implement In-Image and In-Screen ads.

AdBuilder also allows marketers to export content created on the platform to be served via third-party trading desk partners.

It aims to simplify the creative design process for its clients. “Agencies and marketers can implement high-impact creative seamlessly, whether they're making an update or building a completely new ad design,” Brian Kim, vice president of product management, told Real-Time Daily via email.

In particular, Kim said AdBuilder will help GumGum grow its business in the auto and quick-service restaurant verticals where clients require advertising creative that's customized by geography and time of day.

“We're excited to further grow our use of AdBuilder in these verticals and also in programmatic channels over the next year,” Kim said.

GumGum said more than 20 marketers and agencies were given access to the beta version of AdBuilder. “The design process to create custom, rich-media units, such as the ones GumGum serves, can take a substantial amount of time to create and execute.

AdBuilder reduces the creation time, and we’re able to produce high-quality, custom content in a quick and efficient manner,” stated Katherine Broyles, digital project manager, Click Here Labs, a division of The Richards Group.
