Trump Nearly Quintuples Rent On His Own Campaign's Offices

In March, the Trump campaign paid Trump Tower Commercial LLC $35,458 for rent on its offices, the same amount the campaign had been paying since last summer. There were 197 paid employees or consultants in March. Now that Trump is accepting donations to his campaign, the rent on the office space in his own building has inexplicably risen to $169,758 in July. The campaign in July had 172 paid staffers, less than it had in March.
