Discovery Explores Ad Pricing, Taps Expert

Robert Voltaggio has left his dual post as vice president, pricing and planning for AMC and Women's Entertainment as vice president, advertising sales revenue and planning, to join Discovery Networks. Voltaggio has been named vice president, advertising sales revenue, and the network expects him to play an instrumental role in directing Discovery's advertising sales efforts. At AMC, Voltaggio oversaw the development of annual sales budgets and financial models, and assisted in creating various sales strategies for AMC and Women's Entertainment. Before his stint at AMC, Voltaggio was with ABC Family Network for six years, where he served in a variety of managerial posts within the sales planning division. -- D.K.
