'See Your City' (Phase Four)


Teaming with creative agency Beautiful Destinations and American Express, NYC & Company, New York City’s tourism marketing organization, is launching the fourth phase of its “See Your City” campaign.

Phase four focuses on user-generated, visual content to encourage visitors and participation across social media. As part of the project, Beautiful Destinations has tapped its network to funnel more than four million impressions of the city through its Instagram and Snapchat channels. 

To further promote #SeeYourCity, social media ambassadors—ranging from cultural institutions to local neighborhood influencers to NYC Instagram users—are promoting the program by sharing images on Instagram with the official hashtag #SeeYourCity. 

All content tagged with #SeeYourCity on Instagram will be featured as travel inspiration on nycgo.com/seeyourcity and the new LinkNYC network.

The campaign is being promoted through digital media in addition to bus shelters and street pole banners across the five boroughs. The campaign is also being seeded through social platforms and highlighted on NYC & Company's Facebook, Instagram, Twitter accounts, as well as through American Express digital channels.
