The Exchange Lab Names AOL's Penny Harris SVP, International

The Exchange Lab, a programmatic unit within GroupM Connect, on Thursday announced the appointment of Penny Harris as SVP of international business development. Harris will be tasked with developing and sustaining client relationships and implementing a revenue growth strategy in all markets outside of North America as part of The Exchange Lab’s direct client specialist arm.

Harris joins The Exchange Lab from AOL, where she served as head of international revenue, focusing on both brand and programmatic advertising. Prior to AOL, Harris worked at Microsoft Advertising Global, where she held the role of senior director of multinational sales. During her 13-year tenure at Microsoft, Harris led multi-national commercial teams responsible for servicing cross-screen advertising solutions for brands and media agencies.

Harris will report directly to Chris Dobson, CEO, The Exchange Lab.

The Exchange Lab's proprietary meta demand-side platform (DSP), dubbed Proteus, aims to unify DSPs, marketing technologies, media platforms, and exchanges into a single touch point.

Proteus is integrated into 10 DSPs including MediaMath, AppNexus, ONE by AOL, and The Trade Desk.
