Playwire Media, both a digital representation firm and online video platform, has engaged SpotX to run the video ad-serving part of its business.
SpotX’s ad server and programmatic capabilities will be used to monetize Playwire’s video inventory throughout its portfolio, namely with its flagship partners CinemaBlend.com, BleedingCool.com and SuperCheats.com.
"Playwire will leverage SpotX's viewability targeting feature, across desktop and mobile, to enable their team to focus on meeting the advertiser's reach and quality requirements by utilizing the efficiency of Deal ID executions." Mike Laband, VP of business development at SpotX, told Real-Time Daily via email.
The viewability feature offers publishers a way to predict and optimize viewability scores for campaigns, filtering delivery placements that are best able to match the viewability requirements of advertisers.
