Jodi Falkenthal, Hallmark Channel's account executive for Advertising Sales in the Southeast Region, has been promoted to vice president in the same department for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel. Falkenthal, a former marketing consultant for Air Quality Sciences--where she was responsible for analyzing the industry trends--will remain in the Southeast Region's Atlanta headquarters. As for the Hallmark Channel itself, the channel continues its steady ratings rise with its highest quarter ratings ever during the first quarter of this year, now ranking number nine in Total Day household ratings and 13 in Prime Time HH ratings among all 59 measured ad-supported cable networks, according to Nielsen Media Research. -- D.K.
