When Should We Expect Today's Election To Be Called?

The 2000 election took over one month to be finalized, and John Kerry waited until the day after the election to concede to George W. Bush. McCain conceded his presidential bid at 11:20 p.m. on Election Day, shortly after networks called the race for Obama. In 2012, Romney delivered his concession speech around 1 a.m. the night of the election.

It’s hard to guess when, or whether, the loser will concede tonight.
