General Mills To Cut Jobs In Restructuring; CMO Leaves

General Mills CMO Ann Simonds is leaving the company and it is eliminating the position of international chief operating officer and cutting up to 600 jobs. General Mill’s president and COO Jeff Harmening has assumed global operations responsibilities. The company intends to name a new global CMO or marketing innovation leader, who will report to Harmening.
