Doctors Office Associated With University of Maryland Hacked

An orthopedics office associated with the University of Maryland School of Medicine was hacked. The office notified its 1,500 patients that a physician assistant's email account that contained the personal information of patients had been hacked in to. While no evidence suggests that any patient had been breached, patients were notified out of an "abundance of caution."
