Brexit Blamed For Apple Store 25% Price Hike

Apple is raising the price of iPhone and iPad apps in the UK by 25%, to reflect the sharp fall in the value of the pound following the country's vote to leave the European Union. The company announced the price rise in an email to app developers on Tuesday, stating that: "when foreign exchange rates or taxation changes, we sometimes need to update prices on the App Store."
