Twitter Apologises For Turning Obama Fans Into Trump Followers

The transition from Barack Obama to Donald Trump has proved a bit much for Twitter, which inadvertently transferred thousands of followers of the former president to his successor's account. Obama was switched to a new handle @POTUS44 account, which is where his followers should have gone. Because of a glitch, they found themselves still following the @POTUS account.
