Cosabella Lingerie Boosts Email ROI With Artificial Intelligence

Luxury lingerie retailer Cosabella boosted email revenue upwards of 60% after partnering with Emarsys Marketing Cloud for AI-driven engagement.

Cosabella, which means “beautiful thing” in Italian, is a family-run business specializing in intimate apparel, swim and loungewear.The retail company sells directly to consumers as well as through a network of thousands of independent boutiques and department stores.

Emarsys announced this week that Cosabella doubled its subscription base after integrating Emarsys’ technology into its operations in October 2016, boosting revenue substantially and increasing email-generated revenue by more than 60% compared to 2015.

Cosabella utilizes the Emarsys Suite of digital marketing products to better personalize marketing to both its consumer buyers and its network of partner retailers. Emarsys is a cloud marketing software provider for consumer-facing companies, which powers a suite of marketing solutions that aim to help marketers and sales professionals provide more targeted and successful outreach. The company services more than 1,500 clients around the world from 16 global office locations.

Artificial intelligence has become a buzzword in the marketing technology industry, and now, every marketing cloud vendor has pledged to invest in AI-driven capabilities. Emarsys announced its own artificial intelligence product, Emarsys AI Marketing (AIM), at the end of November in 2016.

Emarsys’ artificial intelligence acts in a way that is similar to Salesforce’s Einstein technology -- as an added layer of machine-learning algorithms embedded into the company’s marketing cloud. AIM sits between the Execution and Campaign layers of the Emarsys marketing stack, supporting marketing and sales communication with predictive recommendations, tailored promotions and send-time optimization.

The business intelligence capabilities of Emarsys AIM are derived from an analysis of over two billion unique customer profiles.
