Protected Media Joins Trustworthy Accountability Group To Fight Online Ad Fraud

Protected Media, a global provider of technology that attempts to eliminate suspicious and underperforming ad traffic, on Wednesday said it has been verified by the Trustworthy Accountability Group (TAG).

The TAG verification means that brands and agencies can rely on Protected Media’s commitment to ensure that display, mobile, and video ads are properly located, visible, and seen by real people.

The TAG verification program is part of the organization’s efforts to eliminate fraudulent traffic, combat malware, fight Internet piracy, and promote transparency across the digital advertising supply chain.

“Protected Media’s participation proves it’s making a contribution to improve the online advertising ecosystem,” stated Mike Zaneis, CEO of TAG. Zaneis told Real-Time Daily that the group has 175 companies so far registered to join TAG in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., China, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Israel, Brazil, and countries throughout the European Union.
