Allstate Breaks Campaign With a Little Help From Friends

Desperate housewives, an American idol, the counterterrorism team from "24," and the music of the "King," Elvis Presley, helped Allstate preview its new auto insurance product. Allstate Your Choice Auto Insurance provides insurers with numerous choices, innovative features, and enhanced rewards for safe drivers. Americans began hearing about the product during the season finale of ABC's "Desperate Housewives." Consumers will learn more about Allstate Your Choice Auto Insurance over the next two weeks during Fox's "American Idol," "24," and upcoming motor sports events.

The campaign, created by Leo Burnett USA, features Elvis Presley's "I Can't Stop Loving You," and Allstate spokesman and "24" star Dennis Haysbert. The ads preview product features such as "Accident Forgiveness," "Safe Driving Bonus," and "Deductible Rewards," and ask consumers: "Can you love your car insurance as much as you love your car?" Print ads will also run in USA Today, The New York Times, and Chicago Tribune. -- Amy Corr
