Country Living has partnered with the A&E Network to televise the building of
Country Living's 2006 House of the Year in January 2006. For the first time in the magazine's history, a
one-hour television special will bring to life the creation of
Country Living's "House of the Year" project, which began in 1981. Airing nationally on A&E, the program will take viewers from
the concept, planning, and development stages to the building of the house, interior design, and the final room-by-room walk-through.
