New Blog Network Raids CNET For Sales Exec

Chas Edwards has joined FM Publishing--the blog advertising network that media entrepreneur John Battelle plans to launch this fall--Battelle said late last week. Edwards will "lead the conversation with our marketing partners," according to Battelle. Before joining FM, Edwards ran sales and market development for CNET's News.com, ZDnet, and Tech Republic. FM Publishing will launch with between 10 and 20 technology-related blogs, including Boing Boing, as well as Battelle's own SearchBlog. Battelle said he also is considering including blogs that cover culture for the network.
