Nielsen Sets Advertiser Team, Poised For First Meeting

Nielsen Media Research has finalized its so-called Advertiser Advisory Council, which will hold its first meeting Aug. 4 in Chicago. The group is comprised of: Vicky Champlin, director of media planning, Anheuser-Busch; Mark Kaline, global media manager, Ford Motor Co.; Roger Adams, senior vice president-marketing, Home Depot; Michael Lao, vice president-global media, MasterCard; Peter Sterling, vice president-marketing, USA, McDonald's; Greg Ross, director-North America media and marketing, Procter & Gamble; Cheryl Idell, executive vice president-media and marketing, 20th Century Fox Film Corp.; Laurie DePrete, director of marketing, communications and branding, Verizon. -- J.M.
