Web analytic provider WebSideStory Inc. has launched a service that provides customized Web visitor analysis reporting for marketers and e-commerce executives. The service, offered as a premium to the
HitBox, offers custom analysis tailored to specific online business objectives. WebSideStory says the service allows users to specify what type of insight they would like to see on a regular basis and
then have those reports scheduled and delivered via email. There is no software implementation or client-side development. The content and the presentation can be defined. “Executives are often faced
with information overload when it comes to Web visitor data,” said Guy Creese, research director of Internet analytics for Boston-based market analysis firm Aberdeen Group. “This new HitBox service
helps them cut through the overload and grab the visitor behavior insights that are most relevant to their bottom line.”
