Nielsen Acquires South Korean Ad Tracker

VNU's Nielsen Media Research International unit Wednesday said it acquired Korea Advanced Digital Data Inc., and its subsidiary, BasisNet, South Korea's largest advertising monitoring and intelligence companies. Financial details were not disclosed. with the acquisition of KADD and BasisNet, Nielsen now offers competitive ad tracking services in all major Asian markets. -- Joe Mandese
