Following a series of speculative reports, WPP Group Wednesday confirmed James Heekin as chairman-CEO of its Grey Worldwide unit. He will report to Edward Meyer, chairman, president and CEO of Grey
Global Group, which was acquired by WPP late last year. Heekin, who recently stepped down as chairman-CEO of Havas' Euro RSCG Worldwide unit, is expected to succeed Meyer when he retires.
