The Kroger Co. today announced a multi-year agreement with In-Store Broadcasting Network to install a place-based media TV network in 2,500 Kroger-owned grocery stores nationwide. The
satellite-delivered network uses plasma and LCD screens located in key locations throughout the store to deliver information about new products, services, cooking tips, and special promotions--and of
course, advertising. Installation of the network is expected to take place over the next 18 months.
