Twentieth Television is partnering with Hewlett-Packard as part of a marketing campaign worth $7 million to $8 million for the launch of "The Bernie Mac Show" in syndication. Hewlett-Packard is
offering up a range of computer equipment for a back-to-school contest, called "School's Back and So Is Bernie Mac! Sweepstakes," in which TV tune-in ads will direct viewers to the Bernie Mac Web
site, www.BernieMacShow.com.
Radio, TV, and Internet media and promotion will be part of the campaign, and Twentieth estimates the combined media will reach more than 60 million
impressions. Twentieth has been using aerial banners on beaches and on-site street teams as part of its marketing efforts. The show debuts September 12th.
