Veteran TV media buying executive Bruce Jay Cohen has returned to the media agency business as managing partner, director of national broadcast for Mediaedge:cia. Cohen will oversee buying duties for
Campbell's, Toys "R" Us and Mattel. The move reunites Cohen with Rino Scanzoni--chief investment officer of Mediaedge:cia--who Cohen will report to. Cohen worked with Scanzoni when the two were at
MediaVest. Cohen had been at MediaVest for twenty years, ascending to senior vice president of national broadcast, overseeing all broadcast duties for clients including Procter & Gamble, Burger
King, Dow Chemical, and Pillsbury accounts. Before coming to Mediaedge, Cohen was a consultant to Masterfoods, managing the company's brand budgets and acting as the liaison between the company and
its media buying agencies.
