Audit Bureau Postpones 'Sponsored Sales" Date

Print media circulation watchdog Audit Bureau of Circulations Wednesday said its board voted to delay the effective date for new rules governing how it treats so-called "sponsored sales" as magazine circulation. Instead of going into effect January 2006, the new rules will become effective June 30, 2006 for circulation-related agreements entered into prior to July 18, 2005.
