PennMedia has revealed that 9.5 million of its users want high speed access, according to a recent NRRI/ BIGResearch study. The study also revealed that consumers appear to be evenly split between their preferences for either Cable or DSL, with 34% undecided. This appears to be an opportunity for the cable (AT&T Broadband, Comcast, AOL Time Warner, Cox Communications, Charter) and DSL (Verizon, Earthlink, DirectTV DSL, SBC) providers to make significant subscriber gains, Penn says.
